Mitsubishi has decided to expand the definition of who can benefit from the First Responder program. What started back in 2015 as a way to thank some first responders is now expanding into something greater. The First Responder program, which allows for a $500 rebate off the purchase of a new vehicle that can be combined with other offers. Now, in response to the contributions of healthcare professionals during the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, the program will now allow more healthcare workers than before receive the rebate.
The following is a list of professions that now qualify for the program under the new parameters. While the professions were once focused almost entirely on currently active first responders, most of the added professions come from hospital workers.
